New for Autumn/Winter 2024, Bragail 2.0 imagines a digi-gàidhealtachd, a space for all Gaels to be as cheeky, stunning, rebellious, and annoying as we like. We've all been united in recent years by an ever-changing online community, fuelling a Gàidhlig renaissance and launching the careers of many a Park Bar brat. The heart and soul of the Gaelic community is her brazen people. 'Bragail' will always be a celebration of this, logged-in or AFK.
This new collection is full of nostalgic winks to our online childhoods - think hours spent staring at whatever tf teletext was, carefully copying and pasting pre-corporate-era emojis into our MSN names from websites that gave our family computers viruses, learning basic coding to make bebo skins, ascii art, diabolical webcams...
