Tethered - Iona Prints - 1/5

My Iona collage series was made after a family trip to the island, my mum and her mum's afterlife home.

This piece, tethered, describes the feeling of being the daughter left tethered to this world without my mother and maternal grandmother. The windows in the moody spring sky are the windows of Iona Abbey, where both their ashes were scattered decades apart.
