"Dè Thuirt Sibh?" Adults' Communal Filmmaking Club - book here!
6.30pm-8.30pm at An Lòchran, Partick. free to attend but booking essential, all materials included.
“Dè thuirt sibh?” is a brand new, experimental Gàidhlig and Irish Filmmaking project funded by the Bòrd na Gàidhlig Colmcille fund.
Join us until Spring 2026 for a ten-workshop programme anns a' Ghàidhlig, where we'll produce an animated short film called “Dè thuirt sibh?”, on the theme of miscommunication.
This project is strictly for first-time animators, no artistic background is necessary, but conversational-level Scottish Gaelic is a must.
By April, we’ll have produced one single <5 minute long animated short, made collectively by our attendees. A separate series of workshops will be running in tandem to these classes to produce a score for our film, again by non-professional music producers. Please note that these are adult workshops, and are not for children. attendees must be 18+.

Sgioba Ealain 2025/26 Programme - book here!
10am-12pm at An Lòchran, Partick. £15 per child per class, all materials included.
Sgioba Ealain is an inclusive space for all Gaelic-speaking kids to learn about the world of art, historical and contemporary, through play, crafting, and obviously, the Gaelic language.
This year our programme will run from September-December 2025, and again from January-May 2026, with an exhibition and fundraiser in June 2026. We also have a special block of workshops in collaboration with the Gaelic Futurisms exhibition running from September 27th-November 15th, details can be found on the eventbrite page linked below.
These workshops are suitable for primary school children, though S1 pupils who have already attended Sgioba Ealain workshops and wish to continue with us are absolutely welcome to return. Children learning Gaelic are also welcome, but please note we do not speak English as a general rule during Sgioba Ealain, so a certain level of conversational Gaelic is necessary.
