My Iona collage series was made after a family trip to the island, my mum and her mum's afterlife home.
This piece, As Above, Etc, shows three identical iterations of one hill in the middle distance, just beyond the pebbled beach. I wanted to imagine what the landscape of Iona must look in the afterlife to all its ghostly inhabitants. The title comes from the matra "as above, so below", in this case linking that next world, the above, with ours, which I imagine is a first draft for something more wild to come.
