This print series consists of collages made after a trip to one of my favourite cities in the world. I'd wanted to visit Copenhagen since I was a teenager, after finding out about Freetown Christiania, a commune and intentional community started in the 1970s on an old military base in the city, and it was the first holiday my partner and I took post lockdown hell. So much about Copenhagen, from the Freetown to the cycling culture to the topless sunbathing on the canal during heatwaves in the Summertime, feels like the kind of life I want to have when I grow up. There aren't really any deep and meaningful messages in these collages, just lots of love.
